Reaching your destination is an achievement in itself, and you can celebrate under the Eiffel Tower, spend the night in Paris and enjoy this romantic, stunning capital city. Finally, sit back and relax on your Eurostar journey home, recalling the past few days, memorable, unique, yours.

Cycling London to Paris

Embark on a journey between two historic, iconic capital cities. Begin and end at famous landmarks, the Greenwich Observatory and the Eiffel Tower. Pass through classic Kent countryside, Englands ‘Garden’ county, the North Downs provide a challenge to your endurance and pedal power. Then board the ferry and it’s on to the Pas de Calais, the Somme and Oise regions of France, surrounded by history, landmarks that provide a stark reminder of the wars that have raged. Finally, Paris approaches and you celebrate under the Eiffel Tower before enjoying all that Paris has to offer; the food, museums, sights and sounds.
Itinerary
Day One – London to Dover
We meet at 6.30am at the Greenwich Observatory to start riding at 7am. The route takes in Greenwich Park, Shooters Hill and then follows the Thames corridor through to Dartford. We skirt Maidstone passing through Coxheath, Lenham and over the Kent Downs towards Folkestone. The route follows the coast from Folkestone to Dover, for our overnight stay.
Distance: 80 miles (130 km)
Day Two – Calais to Amiens
After breakfast, we take the ferry to Calais, cycle through the old town centre and begin our route on minor roads crossing through beautiful rolling countryside. The road surfaces are good and the chances to stop at the roadside are plentiful. Passing through numerous quaint villages, we cycle through Licques, Frévent and Doullens, finishing the day in the town of Amiens.
Distance: 90 miles (145 km)
Day Three – Amiens to Paris
Leaving Amiens it is a fast ride south through the villages of Bresles and Persan, past open fields to cross the River Oise at Beaumont-sur- Oise. Paris comes into sight and on entering the outskirts, there are some steep, winding descents down to the River Seine. From here we head to the Trocadero for fantastic views over Paris and make the final ride down to the Eiffel Tower, across the Place de Concord and up the Champs Elysees with a victory lap around the Arc de Triomphe.

Day Four – Paris
There is a free morning in Paris for sightseeing before making our way home via Eurostar. Why not visit a museum or gallery before travelling back to the UK? Return times range between 12 noon and 6pm.
Price Inclusions / Exclusions
- Participants register online, with a deposit payment of £199.00.
- The remaining £600.00 is due 10 weeks before your scheduled ride date and is payable by bank transfer.
You will receive reminder emails two weeks prior to payment.

- Return transport via Eurostar to London
